Five long years later. I think the closet is finally clean. The best part about obsessions is when you're over them, and you can just indulge in the music that you were listening to at the time; that music that never died in the first place; the music that fueled the fires because it had found it's core. Such music is heavenly when the clouds have cleared, when resolution has found its characters. Peace never reigns supreme, resolution is what occurs when characters are at peace with that fact. In the background of this realization is usually very tacky music; music that no one would ever call cool. But fuck that anyway.
